Thanks for the reply. In terms of the specific points you bring up:

1. Org Behavior - I'm not 100% tied into going into OB. I'm more interested into more of Strategy Consulting as opposed to the implementation-heavy work I do now. I know a lot of programs have electives in OB, so it's something I wanted to explore in addition to the typical finance/strategy classes I'd be taking.

2. I appreciate your candor here. Simply put, I came from a poor single-parent household in the middle of the country. I didn't have the opportunities to travel/live/study abroad until very recently. While I got a late start of things, I feel like my life has been a natural progression to working abroad (small town -> small state college -> transfer to internationally focused school on east coast -> traveling abroad). I feel like the next logical steps there are studying/living abroad -> working abroad. I realize my language skills will limit me to working in english-speaking countries though.

Does it not make sense for me to apply to European MBA programs at all? I personally like what I've seen from LBS/HEC/IESE in terms of diversity and requiring language courses for those lacking the ability. Let me know what you think, I appreciate your perspective here.

To respond to your points:

1) OK, but frame your goals in terms of business needs and goals. I realize that organization behavior relates to business, but you don't want the reader of your goals essay wondering why you need an MBA.
2) Well put and that's an argument you can make in your essays too.

I see no harm in applying to European programs too, but don't apply there exclusively and show awareness of the language requirements as you apply. )I realize you are learning German. ) Also apply to programs where your numbers are on the high side.

Best,
Linda
