Hi Linda,

Thanks again for answering my questions. Yes I did have an upward trend towards the end (my junior and senior years were much higher and my freshman year was a tad low). That may help me a bit as I noticed a few applications ask for the year by year breakdown.

Also, in regards to the second question, of those schools (not H/S/W), is there a school that you would particularly recommend? If I apply ED to Columbia, how would you estimate my chances are?

Thanks for your continued help.

RFMBA2,

Yes, that upward trend will help you.

Your chances are better at Columbia, Tuck, Haas, Stern, Kellogg, and Darden, but not a lot better. These are all still very competitive programs, but that's what you need if you want to break into IB. You may also want to consider Duke, Cornell, Yale, and Georgetown.

FYI, Haas' Director of Admissions will be available to answer questions during a Haas Q&Aat Accepted.com this Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM PT/1:00 pm ET.

Best,
Linda
