You can definitely do better on the GMAT. No one kills it on their first shot. Take some time to prepare, find some help if you need it, and commit to improving your score. In a few months, we'll look forward to hearing back from you with a solid score. Best of luck!

I would not say you are not ready for an MBA I do think your profile is not quite ready to apply. You need some fine tuning that includes improving your GMAT, doing some school research, and thinking through what you want out of an MBA experience.

Hi,

I want to get some reality check on my application.

GMAT score : 570
IELTS : 7.5
Graduation : 54.30%
Major : B.A.(H) Economics from SRCC, Unviersity of Delhi (2013 Batch)

Full time work experience :
Analyst, Deutsche Bank Group ( 1 year and 4 months)
Junior Associate, Edelweiss Broking Limited ( 1 year and 3 months)

Internships :
Bharat Bhushan & Company (Summer 2011)
AIESEC, Philippines (Summer 2012)
Live Project with Edumentor

I think I am not ready for MBA but looking forward to study Finance and settle in Europe. I will write CFA exams too later this year. I am highly dependent on loans and scholarship for education funding. Which schools do you suggest? Do I have a chance to get through some colleges?

I agree that you are probably not ready for an MBA just yet. You would need to improve your GMAT score for starters, and I also think you should do more research about programs and schools on your own first, as what school someone should go to is a very individual matter. Therefore, you could often go very wrong if you are solely relying on the recommendations of others.

So get back to the GMAT studies and do some research and see what the schools you are interested in are looking for. That should give you some ideas on how to improve your own profile as well.

Good luck!

Yeah dude,
Spend another year working and improving that GMAT, and then take a decision.
Best,
Jon
