GMAT: 680
GPA: 3.3, B.Tech in Mechanical engineering (Top 25 college)
I am interested in applying for MBA(FT) US Colleges or MIM program at LBS, LSE
Work EX: I have graduated in JUNE 2010. I had a horrible accident when i was in my 2nd year of grad and had to miss my exams and in turn had to miss a whole year. I applied for internship at a company which manufactures chemicals based on natural products and India's no1 by production.
During that year itself i learnt everything from the technical aspect to chemical composition of the products.It somehow excited me and i loved the whole environment.I am a very quick learner and hence by the end of the year i was promoted. But then my college started and as i didnt want to leave it so my boss told me dat i could stil work in the marketing team which i continued. On the weekends i did full time working in the plant and on weekdays i did after my college.I juggled my studies with work full time which is an achievement for an student studying in INDIA
This continued till my last year of Grad when i had to do a project which i again did in my company.
I played a major part when i worked for 5 months in setting up their new plant which had a lot of mechanical innovations which complemented my mechanical background. I played a pivotal part in making that TUNNEL design IN THE PLANT as its the first of its kind in INDIA.
Luckily my grades improved too as i had a 3.7 GPA in my last year. PRESENTLY i am stil working in the same company NOW as a Manager.
My problem is as how to state my Work ex now..Will it be counted even.
Extra Curriculars:
I feel I have a lot of extra curricular activites in terms of quantity.
I have played HOCKEY at State as well as National level. Have represented my school in Volleyball at disrict level too.
I have WORKED AS A VOLUNTEER for the college fests and Coordinated the Department fest.
Iam working for a NGO called SHINE for the last 1 year which aims at development of marginalized urban slum communities of Delhi.
Long Term Goals:
I would like to be an Entrepreneur as i think i have lots of ideas which if worked upon could make a change in the society.
I am looking at top 25 B-SCHOOLS IN US. I am not sure of anything but have a lot of faith and confidence dat if given a chance i will stand out.
PLEASE HELP AND GIVE SUGGESTIONS.

Many schools in the top 25 have entrepreneurship concentrations. Do you plan to stay in the same industry?
