To be honest, you're going to have a tough time getting into any decent b-school if you haven't been working full-time in the last 3 years even if you have the most legitimate reasons for doing so. No matter how politically correct the admissions officers will be, the reality is a lot of them will be a bit too scared off by that much of a gap - especially when that gap isn't something that happened before, but that is happening now. If you were to go back to b-school full-time, that would mean that by the time you graduated, you wouldn't have been working for 5 years, which will also concern recruiters.
I know this may be tough to hear and it's tough for me to say it, but I think it's important to know what you're up against even if people who are evaluating you are too afraid or politically correct to say it out loud.
If I were you, I would find whatever which way to work full-time again if you can. If you're gunning for a decent b-school, it's a sign that you are serious about your business career and that you want it to be a full-time thing. So if that's the case, you really should for your own sake try the best you can to work full-time, work for a few years, and then consider going back for a part-time or exec MBA program.
