You have an impressive profile with strong undergraduate performance and work experience at McK. Will you get a promotion at McK that we could use when applying?

As you alluded to, the GMAT is below average, especially for an Indian male for the top schools, so while a higher GMAT will help you, it is clear that you have strong quant experience as it is. I would say that waiting will only help if you will get a great promotion and do something significantly different at McK or elsewhere in the next year. If not, then waiting won't make much of a difference I would recommend you apply this year.

You still have time to do Round 1 applications (moreso for some than for others of course) but if you get started right away with the perfect plan of attack, it can get done. I've done complete applications (successful ones) with clients in as little as a few weeks, though more time always helps of course.

Reach out for additional guidance and good luck!

Scott

Thanks for your response Scott. I started out as a Junior analyst, and am currently working as an Analyst. Another promotion is potentially due in the coming year. I will be retaking the GMAT, and will be aiming for a 750+ the next time.
