Hi there,
Nice job on your GMAT! I think you should consider a couple in the top 10 and a couple more in the 11-15 range. Now, your minimal involvement outside of work will hurt you, but I'm wondering what type of extracurricular work you do for your firm if any? Any pro-bono consulting projects you've been on lately? These would certainly count towards your involvement. Further, with your promotion, are you a team lead? Project manager? We'll need to bring our your leadership skills and ensure they are on full display. Finally, to hone in on a specific school, it's important be precise with your goals, both short and long-term. There are plenty of great schools that off both consulting and banking opportunities, but if you're leaning towards one, that will help filter through the crowd. If you're going the consulting route, I'd consider one within H/S/W then Kellogg, Haas, and Duke. Now, these are schools to apply to, not where you're necessarily aligned. Also, this depends on your bandwidth and willingness to apply to 3 or 4 schools for R2. Also, you may want to consider where you want to end up geographically as many top consulting firms recruit by office and transfers are a bit more difficult than you would expect. Hope this information helps. Let us know if you'd like to chat more in detail! Also,
our free resources might help you get things started this season. Best of luck!
