Dear all,

I also kindly ask for a preliminary profile evaluation. By the time I would begin my MBA, my profile would look as follows:

Basics: German, male, 28y, university education in law. Languages: German, English, French (B2), Spanish (B1)

GMAT: 690 (I will take it again though, hoping to score min. 720)

University:
Bachelor's in European Law, LL.B. (GPA 3.03)
Master's in Corporate Law, LL.M. (GPA 3.33)

Post-grad full-time work:
- an internship at one of the world's largest PR agencies; plus
- 3.5 years as co-entrepreneur in our growing family business that is currently bringing a CO2 emission-neutral biogas fuel to the market as well as other products and strategies that reduce greenhouse gas emission by cars. I am mainly acting as Vice President for Communications and the manager of our company's local establishment in a major German city.

Extracurricular Activities:
During my Bachelor's, I was elected as Vice President for Academic Activities at a local students' association (200 members). I was later elected as President and fulfilled this role during my Master's.

My favorite Schools in Europe would be London Business School, HEC Paris, IESE and ESADE. I am particularly interested in IESE, although I hope my mediocre grades won't tear me down too much. Would that profile be strong enough? Should I maybe get one more year of work experience?

I would be grateful for any advice. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing your profile. I'm not sure the additional year of WE will change much unless you are expecting some meaningful leadership experience or impact that could help better position you. I think given your low GPA if you can hit that higher GMAT score you could really help yourself out. You have some interesting work experience with nice extra curricular involvement so a strong GMAT score could help counterbalance your low GPA and position you for success at your target programs.
