Target b schools: isb, Nanyang, NSU, INSEADS
Xth- 87%
XIIth- 89%
Graduation- 60%
I am a commerce graduate and a Chartered Accountant.
Have an work ex of 2.5 years in accounts, auditing and taxation majorly with big 4 firms.
However, now I have resigned and started my own small consulting firm. Just wanted to know whether or not this will have a negative impact at the time of interview stages of b school?
Professional achievements
1) Was awarded super team award
2) other individual rewards
3) various appraisal mails from seniors and clients
Will be taking my gmat in august.
Age- 25 years

It should not have a negative impact, especially if you can communicate how this fits in with your MBA plans. You could highlight the entrepreneurial spirit, the learnings you gained from your small start-up, as well. Addressing it upfront and relating the positives from it would be better.

It just depends upon how you work on your application! I think your profile looks really good. What's your GMAT and TOEFL?
