I worked as an Integration Engineer in Ericsson for 18 months. Then I switched to ZS Associates (Sales and marketing consultancy)to work as a Business Operations Associate.
Extra curricular:
- Self taught guitarist
- written a few motivational poems (vinamra9.wordpress.com)
GMAT score : taking the GMAT on 25th July and expecting 720 +- 10
Post MBA goals :
-Work with a consultancy for a few years and gain more experience
-Start my own firm eventually

Thank you for the detailed post. How have you enjoyed ZS? It has grown quite a bit over the years and clients of mine have really enjoyed it there. First, it is good that you made the transition from engineering to consulting! You mention you want your own firm, but what kind of firm are you envisioning as of now?
I recommend looking at schools such as Columbia, Michigan Ross, Darden, Duke Fuqua, Yale SOM, UCLA Anderson, NYU Stern and potentially higher depending on how you do on your GMAT.
