Hello,
I need to know about my chances for a full time MBA program in these colleges( Short term - Management Consulting)
LBS, Tuck, Georgetown, UNC, Rice, MCcombs, Ross.
Age: 25 Yrs
GMAT Score:710 Q49 V39 IR 7
EDUCATION:
Sept 2008 – Jun 2012: VISHWESHWARAYA TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, India
R.V College of Engineering, Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, April 2013
Graduated First Class with Distinction. GPA obtained: 8.56 on a scale of 10
Internships indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and General Electric, Dubai
Work Ex
Experience:
Honda, India Bangalore, India 4 years
Roles Held:
Customer Relations Coordinator – South India
Cross functional working among area, zonal and regional managers for customer complaint resolution
Trained dealership manpower and dealer management.
On site visit for complaint reduction parameters, customer handling and legal case handling
Won award for best performer (top 5% of my department) of more than 80 people.
Area In Charge – Customer Services
Acted as a liaison between company and 14 dealers, was responsible for claim settlements, technical
feedback, manpower development, new dealer appointment
Was responsible for the business development by order and sale of parts, and after sales services (generating 1.5 mn USD revenue).

What are my chances? How can I strengthen my profile?

Congrats on getting the process kicked-off for applying this year! Here are my thoughts:
Strengths
- work experience is very interesting (great company) and different (just be sure to explain the role, how you manage your teams, strategies you've developed etc)
- potential differentiation in your extracurriculars
Potential Issues
- competitive applicant pool - Indian engineers (eg. GMAT scores tend to be very high etc)
- goal is very common - management consulting. For this to be a strong story you REALLY need to be able to explain why this is the right path for you. It's a very commonly stated path, but honestly most people don't know what this job really looks like so you have an opportunity to differentiate yourself through your explanation here as to why you want to be a consultant and what you will do with that experience (specifically). Go to the BCG and/or Bain MBA recruiting website and read about the job and case studies. This may help.
All of that said, I think your scores, work experience and goals put you in the running for the schools you are considering. Since you are applying from a very competitive pool, I'd focus your energy on differentiating yourself - describe your personal and professional experiences that are different and unique. Consider stories other Indian engineering grads can tell and stay away from those.
