HELLO
CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE
would be glad if you can evaluate my profile.

Background.
25 years old; Indian; Male

WE
- 3+ years total exp. till date
- operation engineer working in 2X300 MW power plant (CESC limited (rp-sg group ))
- 6 months off site port experience in kakinada and vishakapatnam (coal handling and timely dispatching)
-international experience -none

GPA
X - 80.5%, DPS faridabad
XII - 85.5%,DPS faridabad
B Tech - 70%,Lingayas university


GMAT: 650 49Q 30V scored canceled till date so no AWA till date (trying to improve)


Extracurricular:
1)several event management at college level (team member ,sub heads and organizer)
2)associated with a small tutoring academy near the company(free of cost)(non profit organization)
3)associated with small wedding organizer agency near my company (
4)actively involved in csr activities of the company and received accolades

please let me know my chance in below mentioned B schools -
top colleges ranking top-10 to top 25 across us and world and what will be the chances for b schools in India

though i am preparing for third attempt still frustrated and disappointed wanted to know where i stand

please help

Negatives:
    1. Undergrad Brand
    2. 3 years work ex is below par.
    3. Work ex isn't very inspiring. There seems to be no growth.
    4. GMAT score is below par. The par score is 720 for your profile.

Recommendations:
    1. Work for two more years. Aim for a promotion.
    2. Work hard at your verbal and improve your GMAT score.
    3. Don't apply now to avoid disappointments.

So I would focus on improving the GMAT- or if you can't do that then look at the GRE, keep progressing in your work- with just 3 yrs of experience you will probably present much better with an extra year of work at least and also a better score, show that you can excel academically in stat, accounting, econ and calculus classes by taking a class in one of those subjects and post an A. Keep looking for ways to demonstrate leadership both in community and at work! Good luck!

Hello,

The first and foremost thing that you need to do is NOT GET DISSAPOINTED. This will only cause more problems. When there is a lock, there is a key.

As my fellow consultants have advised, please work for another year (the average work experience is 5 years for most schools), give the GMAT again, but after proper preparation and apply.
