You have some strong aspects to your profile and I could see you being competitive if you submit a strong application. At this point, R1 Fall 2017 is your best bet- so I would spend the spring seeing if I could improve GMAT, doing school research and also visiting some programs or at least doing online webinars and chats. I would also consider getting some help and the best time to get a consultant's help is probably to start even this spring so that you can be fully ready to hit the Fall R1 deadlines which are very early- like early Sept.
