Excellent!Work
2 years in corporate strategy (internal strategy consulting) for a large financial institution, with one promotion after 1.5 years
This is the weakest link just in terms of tenure- but I think everything else is so strong this can be managed. I had good luck with a client in similar situation last year and he was admitted with scholarships to several top programs.Extracurriculars - co-head of a subcommittee for one of company's affinity groups, providing consulting projects across company advising on new markets to consider entering; mentor to disabled high school boy for two years; taught math to adults trying to get high school equivalence degree for one year
Short term goal - Transition to asset management
Long term goal - Work in PE
Schools - Columbia, Sloan, Booth, Wharton, Kellogg, Yale, Tuck
What are my chances at top schools? Things I should work on to best prepare for next year? Assume very strong essays. THANKS!
At the very top schools- the length of work could be more challenging- I see an easier pathway now at NYU, Ross,
UNC Kenan-Flagler, UVA. That being said- I think by emphasizing your accomplishments and impact and that you should have 3 yrs work at matriculation, that you can apply to these schools and have a shot. I see your best odds possibly at CBS in early round, Kellogg, possibly Booth, not to say the others can't work too but just that the odds are tougher. We would be glad to do a free consult to discuss your case in more detail and explain how Stratus can help you present in the best light.
