Hi there,
Please accept our apologies for the delayed response – as you can imagine, we’ve been quite busy! But I’m happy to share some initial feedback on your profile. In general, with your years of work experience, I don’t think that a traditional two-year MBA in the US (from a top 20 program, at least) will make the most sense for you. Those programs typically target early career professionals with around 3-5 years of work experience. You don’t mention your reasons for pursuing an MBA or what’s driving your timing so if those are particularly compelling and specific, my advice could change. With that said, MBA programs in Europe tend to skew a bit older and could be a really interesting option for you if you’re looking for an international experience.
In general, my advice to you is to define your career goals and think through how an MBA is going to help you achieve those and then identify programs that are going to be best suited to that journey. Once you have a GMAT score in hand, you’ll also have a better sense for which range of programs you’ll be competitive (all of the schools publish their average or media GMAT scores every year).
Best of luck to you! Let us know if we can help further.
Kindly,
Melody
