Hello, I'm looking for an honest profile evaluation request as I'm starting my applications for b-school. Profile below:
26, Born in Europe but now a US Citizen, Male
GMAT - 660
Academics:
Undergrad GPA 3.43 from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Major: Biology/Pre-Med
Professional Experience:
Started out in Software Sales at Experian and quickly moved up the ranks, promoted 2 times in 1 year and 10 months. Then went to Oracle to do enterprise software sales and pre-sales consulting, only stayed for 10 months because a partner at IBM then offered me a full time consulting job in their financial services practice doing enterprise finance technology implementations after I partnered with them on a project while i was at Oracle (salary was almost double and it was doing full time consulting which was my goal). I've been at IBM for 2 years now, one promotion from senior consultant to Manager.
Extra-Curriculars:
played D1 Rugby for 3 years, Captain my last year. Still playing competitive Rugby. Post-grad, i've volunteered at the Local Childrens Hospital, helped set up walks and runs to benefit children's cancer and arthritis.
Goals:
Either move into more of a traditional finance role such as iB or become a fintech product manager.
Short/long Term Schools:
I'm interested in the following part-time programs:
-Booth Evening & Weekend MBA
-Berkeley EWMBA
-NYU Stern Part Time MBA
-UCLA Anderson FEMBA
-USC Marshall

Thanks for sharing your profile. Solid UG track record. Fantastic work experience, which is the most important element when it comes to PTMBA admissions, ok GMAT score. I think you have the right type of profile for the schools you are targeting and you should be a fit for all of them. These type of programs are traditionally known as hubs for career switching so make sure you touch base with the career center as you do your research. Stern might be a particularly interesting option given its location in NYC, might allow you to balance both sides of your career interest
