Hello, Thank you for your time in reviewing my business school applicant profile. I would appreciate some guidance on what schools I should apply to (stretch schools as well as schools with higher likelihood for success).
Demographic: 27, white, male, US citizen, live in NY
Work History: Worked 4 1/2 years at Big 4 Accounting Firm for the crisis and recovery consulting practice
Test Scores: GMAT 730 Q50 V39
Education: Top 20 School GPA 3.2
Career Goal: Want to move into a business development/strategy role in a growing company (have experience in pharma space and would like to work after MBA in this space). After industry experience, want to return to consulting with a focus on the industry.

Thanks for sharing your profile. You are coming from an overrepresented group in b-school admissions, which makes things a bit more competitive for you. You have a good profile with a strong GMAT, competitive work experience and for the top schools what will represent a below avg GPA. You have enough good in your profile to help you out here, so most like you will fall within the top 15 programs, leaning closer to the bottom end here. Depending on the quality of your essays and application you may be able to scale up a bit

Do you think there are specific schools that my profile would be a good fit/match the class profile (as far as career goals and below average GPA)? 2. Would I have better success applying to part time programs in the top 10?
