Hi there,

As you mentioned, your GPA is a bit low, but a strong GMAT score could do wonders for your academic profile. Your work experience is great - it's clear that you've built industry expertise in oil and gas giving you a strong foundation, and your international exposure will work in your favor. However, technology consulting from folks from India is an overrepresented segment, so to make up for a weak GPA, you want to aim as high as possible on your GMAT. Like I discussed before, without an official GMAT score, it doesn't make sense to talk about schools just yet. Another aspect you should think about is what you want to do post MBA. Some schools favor certain specialties over others and have stronger recruiting in certain industries. This will certainly guide your school selection.
