Below is my profile. Please evaluate it and provide feedbacks:
Work : I currently work in EXL, an analytics consulting company as a project manager. I recently got promoted to the managerial position. My work profile so far has been developing strategies for a US retail client to combat credit card fraud in stores and on-line.
Bachelor : B.Tech - IIT Roorkee, 2015 batch
10th / 12th : 90%+ CBSE
GMAT : 710
My experience has been in data analytics consulting. I have 4+ years of work experience. I want to move from analytics consulting to management consulting. I am not sure if this is a right expectation from an MBA. Can someone please guide me here to proceed with my career.

- The academic pedigree is good, given the IIT brand. How was the GMAT score? Precisely because of that pedigree however, the GMAT could be a bit of a sore point. That would be further accentuated by the point that GMAT is also a yardstick management consulting firms look at, while recruiting. Any plans for a retake?
- Your work and EXL brand sounds decent. With 4 years under your belt (?), it would be good to understand achievements/impact. Analytics is fairly contextual so make sure you leverage that well and think through your post-MBA plans in a deeper manner. Management Consulting is definitely feasible, but is that the only thing?
- You haven't mentioned anything on the ECs front. This is why ECs matter in your MBA application. Anything during and after college on this front?
- Any international travel can be a plus, if you have had that.

WORK EXPERIENCE
1) Stock Team Leader
Designed and implemented stock layout plans having value for than 1M$ on container merchant ships. It consists of inventory management, streamlining stock procurement system and creating an overview of all the stocks. Work Exp: 5 months. Company: Maersk Line
2) Operations Engineer(4th Engineer):
Carried out maintenance and operations of machineries on container merchant ships, continuos monitoring of machines and daily operations of ship activities. Work Exp: 2 years, Company: FleetShip Management.
3) Junior Operations Engineer:
Calculated fuel and oil consumption along with chief engineer and observed daily figures, assisted in operation and maintenance of machineries, attained skills of welding, drilling and lathe machines. Work exp: 2 years, Company: Maersk Line

1) Licensed General Insurance Agent, practicing since 2012
2) Freelance Maritime Technical Writer with more than 10 articles on online maritime website Marine Insight.
