Hi there,
I agree an MBA will definitely offer advancement and opportunities. It is great that you are thinking ahead, as that will only benefit you in the long run. Your GPA looks great, congrats, and your involvement is strong in college. Coming from Italy to the US for university and gaining other international experience such as in Spain also gives you a different perspective from many applicants who have only lived in one country, so that is a plus. Regarding GMAT, the 710 is respectable but definitely lackluster and below average at top US schools. The good news is-- GMAT scores are valid for 5 years, and statistically people perform better the closer they take the exam to their time at university, so you have an advantage in taking it now/ working on it in the coming year, vs waiting several years when you are less focused on studying and quant questions etc, so YES I recommend trying again, or even multiple times if needed, to get where you want to be, and schools take the highest score so it's not a problem to try multiple times. In addition, obviously work hard at your job, and take advantage of any additional opportunities to step up, demonstrate leadership, and continue to grow and develop during your career. I would also recommend continuing your involvement outside work- identifying a community activity or cause you are passionate about and participating in that in the coming years. Feel free to keep in touch over time and good luck!
