Could you please evaluate my profile?
About Me:
Age - 33
GRE 322(Q:163,V:159)
Nationality: Indian
Gender: Male
Undergrad: Bachelor of Engineering(B.E) in computer science - 80 % (one of the Top 100 colleges in India)
12th: 90%
10th: 85 %
I am working as a Senior principal engineer working at Oracle (12+ years exp) (IT Industry)
(promotions every 2 years Applications Engineer, Senior Applications Engineer, Project Lead, Principal Applications Engineer, Senior Principal Engineer ) for Oracle.
Primarily I am looking for doing MBA from a top 10 business school in the USA. I am open to FULL time, part-time, and EMBA options.
Any tips or questions would be very much appreciated, but I have a few specific questions into which I would love some insight as well:
1.) Which US B-schools should I target?
2.) What more I can do to strengthen my profile so that my chances of making it to the Top 10 schools increase?
3.) Can I consider EMBA options?
4.) Should I consider FULL-time MBA or will it be better for me to consider a part-time MBA
5.) Will a green card, make me a domestic applicant or an international applicant?

Hi skgmat21 - Thank you for reaching out. I'm happy to share some thoughts.
For the top 10 full-time MBA programs, your GRE is a bit low and your work experience is higher than they usually target. I think you're smart to consider EMBA and part-time MBA options - I think they will be a much better fit for you, and also tend to have somewhat lower testing thresholds.
There is a lot more I would want to know about you to fully assess your chances or tell you how to strengthen your profile. It's great that you've been promoted every two years! Is that a standard pace or faster than your peers? You will want to find recommenders who ideally can say that you perform better than others at your level. Are you able to demonstrate examples of leadership and impact at work and via any EC or community activities? Schools will look for this as well.
And are you able to explain your short and long term goals, and how an MBA at this point in your career (from each specific school) will best help you get there?
I believe different schools handle green card holders differently - although a bit dated, you might find this thread about this topic helpful.

Graduation - B.Com ( Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra) - 1st Division 62.44 %
Chartered Accountant (2012 batch)
I am a practicing Chartered Accountant (self employed entrepreneur) with 9 years of experience, leading a team of 5 on an average at all times. I am based in Agra, so exposure has been limited to small scale businesses. Clients handled - about 100 each year.
GMAT - 660 (Q 49, V 31)
President of the social club - "Alliance Club International - Agra branch"
Certificates in singing, table tennis, elocution at school level.
Looking for admission in IIM(A/B/C/Indore/Kozhikode/Lucknow) or ISB. I am confused that with the above score and profile, will I be able to get into any IIM or ISB. Any suggestions and / or feedback is highly appreciated. If chances to get into my desired schools is bleak, what schools should I try, given that Round 1 for most of the schools have finished.
