Thank you for reaching out! Do you have specific MiM programs within the T20 that you are particularly interested in? If you explore beyond the M7 business schools, there are numerous master’s programs to choose from, with more emerging each year. LBS' MiM program is really popular and I would certainly recommend going for that, among others.
While your work experience should situate you well since many applicants have a year or two of professional experience under their belt before applying, the GMAT will be more important. We suggest looking at the class profiles of your target programs, if available. This can give you a good idea of how you stack up. While naturally it varies from school to school, it is becoming less common to see students earn admission to top 10-20 schools with a GMAT score below 700. That said, it may be worth sitting for the GMAT again.

Hi,
I am a female, Indian MBA aspirant. I scored a 690 on my GMAT (67 percentile quant; 82 percentile verbal and 48 percentile in IR - 85 percentile total). I have one year of work ex as a software engineer at one of the leading investment banking firms in the world. I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from a reputed college in India, finishing with a GPA of 9.12/10. I am aiming for an MiM in one of the top 20 b-schools. How would you rate my chances of getting into my dream program with this profile? Should I retake the GMAT and improve my score for a better chances?
