Hi
harshbirajdar,
Thank you for reaching out. Thinking about your post-MBA goals, business schools will typically want you to pick a set of goals and run with it. In other words, are you more interested in strategy consulting or a BizOps role in tech? While no one will hold you to what you write in your applications, most schools want you to have clear plans laid out before you arrive on campus.
Your long-term goal should also flow logically (though not necessarily obviously) from your short-term goals.

In terms of your work experience, there is a specific strategy we have at
Personal MBA Coach when we work with applicants from startups. Since you don't come from a well-known brand name, it is important to highlight certain elements of your job and be sure to execute your story to perfection. It is key that you tie everything together since the admissions committee members are not extremely familiar with your particular experience. It is great to see that you have noted some of the key highlights from this experience. Some of this information will be useful when crafting your
MBA resume.
As far as school selection goes, picking the right business school is a complicated and personal process and a key component of our services. However, here are
6 tips for business school selection.

2 additional questions:
1) Should post-mba short-term goal be changed to operations in tech, given it is easier for ad-coms to place me there? Or is it okay if I keep it as management consulting?
2) I wish to not confuse the ad-coms by showing my move to product (as it has been only 6 months), and portray my profile end-to-end as operations. Is this the right line of thought?
