Yes and mention you tested out of calculus as well.

Unless you have a ton of obligations/travel or crazy work hours I think it’s reasonable for you to start on your application to months maybe 2 1/2 months before the deadline. So in the case of June 7, you have a bit of time and I think it would be fine for you to continue focusing on your test score for another month.

It’s more helpful to know not the aggregate, but the actual breakout, the main concern is the quant section. They want to know that you can handle the quantitative academic rigor.

If you haven’t explored getting a tutor, you might want to try that, and also the executive assessment tends to be more forgiving.

It’s entirely possible that you can get in with this score that you have but it might also enhance your chances of getting a small scholarship.

I imagine that you have B or better grades and quantitative subjects from undergrad. If you’re not able to get any more traction with your test score, you might call out certain classes that were particularly quantitative - math and also statistics, business calculus would be ideal - in the optional info area.

I work with applicants on both of these programs, and I feel you are very competitive.

Thank you so much for your reply - it means a lot to me. Especially because I had convinced myself that I would not be a competitive applicant, so your comment has made me feel better about my position.

I plan to take the gmat focus once and am currently studying, hopefully with a better outcome. My quant score on the classic was a 38 so I am really working on getting that up specifically. Thank you for the idea to mention quanitative courses from undergrad. Because I was in the IB program in high school and took calculus, I only had to take statistics in college. I got at B+ - do you think that alone would then be worth mentioning?

Thanks again for your time!
