Hi,
can u please evaluate my profile and suggest which schools I should apply
Male-26-Indian
B.Tech IT BHU (one of top colleges in India ,admission through IIT)
work exp: currently 3 years will be 4 at the time of joining
gmat : on 24 nov.. but expect a score of around 720+
worked in delhi in a US based s/w product start up worked to develop product from scratch and the company was successfuly sold off.
currently in bangalore leading team of 8 engineers in another big product s/w company based in US
in college was part of registered community organisation and since joing work have been part of Rotary Club youth wing rotoract. Infact have been general seceratary for one year for Delhi region.
can u please advice me which schools to concerntrate on...do know that am a part of Indian+male+IT group..

Long Term Goal: to go into technology management..basically as a consultant..
one more thing does my profile is suitable to apply to any of the top 15 schools particulrarly if I get a better GMAT score in excess of 720..

Beyond a certain point, your GMAT score will not determine whether top 15 schools admit you. Purely on the question of demonstrating your ability to handle a top 15 program, a 700 is fine; a 760 would help you, but would not be decisive probably. More decisive would be proof of leadership and impact and some sense of personality and uniqueness coming through your essays. You may have a shot at top 10 through top 15 schools, depending on which ones you have in mind. I would name schools like Carnegie Mellon, Texas, Indiana, Purdue, UC Irvine. If there's more to your profile than meets the eye I would also mention Michigan, MIT Sloan, and Haas as long shots.
