I just took the GMAT today. I am confident that I can improve my score.
- If I improve my score 50+ points, what are my chances for H/S/W? What is a safe GMAT level for consideration?
- Give my profile and objective, what other schools should I look at?
Thanks so much.
H/S/W all admit applicants with scores lower than yours, however I would consider a balanced score in the high 600's a score that would remove the
GMATas a possible obstacle to admission. Again, that doesn't mean they don't admit with lower scores or that you shouldn't try to apply to these programs if your score does not improve..
If you improve your score by 50 points, you would have a competitive profile for H/S/W. I am assuming that you are planning to apply in Fall 2010 to matriculate in 2011.
If you don't improve your score, look into Rochester, Georgetown,
Notre Dame, and
UNC. If you do improve your score, also consider
Columbia,
Yale,
Haas, and
Chicago.
