Hi
I am planning to pursue a full-time MBA, preferably from UK and Europe in programmes starting in fall 2011 that last no longer than 18 months. Please help me evaluate my chance for Warwick, HEC Paris, LBS and Cambridge - and grateful if you can advise what I can do to boost my chances in getting admitted.
Executive summary of my profile:
- a CPA in Hong Kong
- 5 years of full-time experience in a Big 4 accounting firm - 3 years in auditing (Hong Kong) and 2 years in financial advisory (China), reached the manager rank
- currently managing financial due diligence projects of my clients' contemplated merger & acquisition deals in China
- before I pursue the professional accounting career, I worked for one year in a well-known global bank as a system analyst right after getting my first degree
- BSc in Computer Science with a weak overall GPA of 2.6 in a university in Hong Kong
- MA in International Business Management in University of Newcastle, UK
- I took GMAT 2 years ago with no preparation, scoring only 630. Excellent numerical score but mediocre in verbal. Will do it again in the coming year.
- Nothing very solid to talk about in extracurriculum activities
thank you very much for your help.
