That makes sense. Applying in R1 of 2017 for matriculation in the Fall of 2018 makes a lot of sense for you. If you can do well on the GMAT and your profile over-indexes in leadership, an application to HBS and/or GSB may be warranted. Fuqua and Ross are great options as well based your goals (with Fuqua being the better option of the two).
