Hey Leigh,
Thanks so much for your post! Let's see what we've got here...While your overall under grad GPA is a bit of a flag, there are definitely some things that mitigate it. For one, you have a really difficult major and that gives you a few bump ups (so you're actually closer to a 3.3 or so). You also have a fantastic grad record. Oh, and your GMAT is awesome. You've also had a great career trajectory at a blue chip company. It would be good to find out what you actually did but if they were both leadership roles then you probably have some impact and scope to talk about. Which is perfect. I'm not quite sure what "role model status" means but if it is some sort of official mentorship thing that great! And to top it all off you have your own non-profit! You have a PRETTTTTY good profile!
From a school perspective, you've listed 3 of the most selective schools out there. Even if your GMAT was perfect, Wharton and Stanford would still be stretch programs and that's because they've gotten crazy competitive. But do I think you should apply to them? Absolutely! You only do this once and if you don't apply, you won't know. The worst that can happen is they say no. Haas is a more realistic stretch / aligned program. I don't quite know what you want to DO with your MBA so it's hard to talk about schools and career enablement.
With most R1 deadlines around the corner, hopefully you've kicked off prepping your apps. As for waiting another year - it really comes down to if you think your profile will exponentially (not linearly) improve. If yes, then you could wait or apply this year anyway. But whatever you do, you don't need to retake that test!
I hope this helps and if you have more questions, feel free to post here or
