That's amazing - congratulations!!!! With a 750, I would hardly say you bombed the verbal, eh?

As for my logic - when you self report (which 9 out of 10 schools allow you to do - some don't, e.g. Duke) - it's free. Then, once you get in, you have to send an official score report. Which is just one fee. So the logic is if you don't know how you will do, then don't send, wait, and then send later. You don't incur as many fees as you think because you're assuming you have to send official reports with every application - which you don't.

I think you've got a lot of work to do but with a 750 in hand, you're in a great spot. Good luck with those applications. Deadlines are right around the corner!
