Profile Evaluation request - GMAT 610 - Indian non-IT applicant [#permalink]
Considering your work experience, you have plenty of things to talk in your essays related to your promotions and achievements you may have received and etc which will impress the Adcom. Your profile, past work- experience, the essays you write, your interview- everything counts towards the final decision. You have to bear in mind that there may be many other candidates with similar qualifications that meet the same criteria. What will differentiate you is how well you answer the questions in your essays. Different schools have different philosophies and look for students with certain traits.

Considering your profile and all the credentials you have mentioned here, it would be really tough for you to get into top Schools with your GMAT of 610. Retake the GMAT and aim for a higher score in the 720+ area. That would open many more doors to you to impress the Adcom.

However, the deadlines for European schools are currently open and there are schools which you can apply to. Get in-touch with us to know more.

A few more perspectives and responses to your queries Sameer:
  1. For reasons mentioned here, we do not speculate on school selection. Purely basis the GMAT though, you may want to start here.
  2. Not sure why you are keeping R2 as the timeline here? See if you can push it to R1 as that has a definite merit. Read here on the number of schools.
  3. Predicting scholarships is even harder than school selection. However, in general, lower you target, better are the prospects for it.
  4. It is good to note that you are aware of the challenges of brand management profiles. You should however explore those profiles within real estate as that sector does tend to take candidates more than say fmcg marketing.
  5. While your ECs look good, they all seem to be in the past. Do bear in mind that only past laurels may not see you through and if you go for R2, there might be a case to develop something more recent on this front.

Hope this helps some.

Cheers,
