Additionally, I will be able to offer you a much more robust assessment if I am able to ask you more questions. If doing a free consult via skype/phone interests you, please fill out our FREE CONSULT form https://squareoneprep.com/free-consultation/.

I look forward to hearing from and speaking with you soon. Thanks again for reaching out.

Not a good move niajtihor - you are unlikely to get any meaningful replies for any consultants when you submit 9 requests.
You reap what you saw.

Hi
Hi niajtihor, I'm not sure how we got these 9 requests all on the Stratus page- and not sure how we have other groups on this link either- but I'll give you some quick thoughts- and then suggest that you also reach out for a free consult for a more robust review: https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com ... b-visitor/

Pros:

1) International Work Experience: serving in Bahrain branch since Sept 2015 in treasury operations department
2) GMAT score: 660I'm not sure I'd put this in the "pro" column as from your pool this score is not going to stand out- even in Canada. Not to say it is an automatic out as it is in the range for school- but just know that the school will likely see many candidates from India with higher scores so the other parts of your application will need to stand out as above average
3) Total work experience : 9 years with India's largest commercial bank at managerial level
4) Achieved 2 promotionssolid but not meteoric in progression- focus on results you achieved when describing your work
5) pursuing CFA level 2 program.note if you passed 1 on first try
6) leading a team of 2 people here in Bahrain
7) My bank ranks 217 in Fortune 500 & among top 50 Banks of the world.

Be prepared to answer why you need a second business degree. There can be good reasons- but expect to address this.
Thanks

This is a strange post in terms of showing up to all companies and many times.... I agree with Dawna's points on GMAT above, and in terms of providing more in-depth feedback on your resume, feel free to sign up for a free consultation if/when desired to speak with one of our consultants for 30 min, at www.mbamission.com/consult. Good luck!

Hi niajtihor,
A big challenge would be on account of being an older applicant, more so with Rotman. (This also translates into their somewhat lower average work experience.) You may learn more on steps older applicants can take here.

You also need to explain the reason for another business degree, and a higher GMAT score too will help your cause.

HI Everyone

Kindly help evaluate my profile
This is my first time applying for an MBA and I need all the help and guidance I can get

Background and Nationality- African, Nigerian

Age: 26

Undergrad Info: B.Sc Economics, Babcock university Nigeria, CGPA: 3;97

GMAT: I have passed all levels of CFA, hence I am planning on using the gmat Waiver-does this hurt my chances of admission and scholarship?

Work Experience - I currently work(for over 2years) at a BIG 4 as an auditor, I also have a 2years experience at a local big bank

Please help evaluate. I also need some coaching on what to except if I am called for an interview

Thanks

Hi, and thanks for writing! I don't think that the GMAT waiver will affect your chances for scholarship (and certainly not for admission if they're explicitly offering it - the CFA already speaks to your quantitative ability). For Rotman, your work experience and academics are within their range - what do you hope to do post-MBA? Be sure to communicate your desired path, and how an MBA from Rotman will help you meet your goals, in your application.

mbaMission's mock interview services have helped many candidates prepare for interviews - we ask questions from our extensive that have been asked of past candidates, so you'd get an authentic experience. Here's some info on it: https://shop.mbamission.com/collections ... w-sessions

Best of luck - hope that helps!

Thanks for reaching out to us! We're happy to help you start your MBA journey. However, we are in the process of relaunching our forum with a new format and will not be able to respond to requests until that process is completed. We will no longer be providing straight profile reviews because at the end of the day, your competitiveness at different schools relies on more than just a few stats or data points; we think a conversation is a much better way to provide that feedback and help you think through your strengths and development areas. We provide a free 30 minute consultation for that reason. As such, our new forum will focus more on the specific and burning questions that you may have for our expert team that can help you as well as others who are reading these posts. More detail to come.

If you reached out for the 2017-2018 application season and we did not get to your question, we sincerely apologize. Due to overwhelming demand, we reached full capacity and completely sold-out well in advance of the deadlines and stopped taking new consultations or profile evaluation requests so that we could focus on ensuring that our clients had the best possible support during the process. We're hopeful that your questions were answered elsewhere on the site, and we wish you best of luck for application success!

Kindly,
The Vantage Point MBA Team
