I am a 24 year old Indian Female.
Undergrad Education - BTech (Honors) Computer Science and Engineering from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad
Academic Credentials
10th grade- 95%
12th grade-92%
Undergrad CGPA- 9.11/10
Test Scores
GMAT - 690 (Q49, V34)
GRE - 327(Q-168, V-159) converts to 720 in GMAT(Q-50, V-35)
Work Experience -
2.5 years till now at Microsoft as a Software Engineer
Worked on several impactful projects having millions of customers - such as Bing Answers, Features of Edge Android and improving productivity of employees.
To deliver the projects, I had to demonstrate strong ownership and collaborate with people across timezones.
Interned for 2 months at Microsoft in 2016
Interned in ecommerce company Infibeam for 2 months in 2015 - I had created scripts for automating several manual tasks
Extra Curricular Activities
1) Helped in family business to introduce online coaching coaching classes
2) During my undergrad, I was a part of leadership club AIESEC and led a team of 8 individuals to convince 100 students to go abroad on volunteering internships. Also helped in delivering the volunteering experience for 50 previously registered students. We were one of the best performing university in India to double our registrations within a year.
3) Reading about personal finances - have invested my money in stocks and a few startups.
4) Travelling and exploring new cultures - I have been to a number of countries in the past few years
5) Painting and cooking - Won a few awards as a child for painting and even represented my school for painting.
Achievements
1) 1st in Google Build for India Hackathon to solve India specific problem using technology
2) 3rd in Hackfest - college hackathon
3) Third prize in yoga in college
5) Was always in top 15% of my class till college
Goals
I want to scale up my family business by using technology and data driven approach. I would also need a better understanding of the business aspects, and hence I want to pursue an MBA.
Please provide an honest feedback for my profile. I would also want to take the aid of admission consultants to build up my application. I also would like to know what are my chances for top 3 (Stanford,Harvard,Wharton) and top 10 business schools for Fall 2020?
