Thanks Linda,

Some very good points. I'd imagine having to explain how I got an MBA from UNC or IU while working full time in Boston whereas a local institution there's no explanation needed and a good tip on Babson. Bentley's program is also on my radar.

As for MIT Sloan, I'm concerned my profile might not be strong enough in the quant area or quite frankly that I'd be a fit. While I'm confident I could cut it, are they looking for more of the analytic background vs. marketing for example?

They are not looking for any specific "profile," but they do want to know that you can do the work. Like you, I'm not confident you would be competitive there. However, it is a relatively new program so it's harder to predict.
