Here is my profile - Indian
BBA - 65% out of 100% (India)
Master in Business strategy and Financial Technology from top Australian University (Yes, 2 specialization) (Top 20 percentile of the class)
Master in International Law (Law school ranked from 15 to 25).
GRE - 325
Work Ex
BBA - Big 4 ( 9 months)
Master - Mercer - Analyst & Senior analyst - (3.5 years) - Investment consulting team
Master in Law - Investment associate Pvt banking - National bank of Canada (6 months)
Extra cir. - Playing badmintion, squash, chess & cricket
Trained in boxing & kickboxing
Looking to do MBA, just to break in consulting. I have failed to crack consulting interviews thrice
B-schools shortlisted
Hec Paris
Duke fuqua
Kellogg One year - Will this help in getting consulting job with nice pay
The problem with one year MBA degree is that they are not valid in India. I intend to return to India after a while
2 Year MBA, the length is a issue. Have to study core courses again.
Age = 30 this year

Starting with your educational background, it seems interesting, and with 2 specializations, you are exhibiting your academic potential. In addition, you have a good GRE score for your target schools. So this part is pretty much sorted for you.
On the work front, working in Big 4 companies makes you acquainted with global companies and thus helps broaden your perspective. I don't have many details of your work experience with respect to your impact and leadership positions but try to exhibit these qualities through your work and personality. Also, you seem to have international experience, which you definitely need in a class of people with a range of varied backgrounds. Your ECs are cool! Stories related to sports will help you bring diversity to your profile.
Your post-MBA goals does make sense. But the schools you have shortlisted, you may want to add INSEAD as well in the list as it is a one-year MBA program and relatively has more global presence than any other school. Also, it's among the first choices for consulting. Since your post-MBA goals are in India, why don’t you apply for ISB 1 year PGP? You can include ISB as well to balance your chances.

I reply appreciate your reply but Insead is expensive program at 90k euro with not good salary seeing their placement statistics report. ISB is good school but its lack diversity and majority of class is engineer which is what I'm trying to avoid. MBA is way for me to enter into consulting. I don't think brand makes a difference unless you graduate from H/S/W
