Hello Consultants,
I am bit confused whether my profile is suitable for ISB
Hence, request you to please please evaluate my profile:
GMAT 660 | Q 45 | V 35 | AWA 4 | IR 5
Work Exp
1) Working as Functional Consultant in MNC. Having 3.5 years experience.
Work Responsibility:
(a) Interaction with client to gather requirements
(b) Handling all the new deliverables
(c) Managing team in absence of my supervisor. Acting as backup project lead.
2)Did lectureship for 7 months in an engineering college.
Total of 4 years of experience.
Academics
X - 72.6%
XII - 73.6%
B.Tech - 76.2%
Extra Curricular/Awards
(a) Won first price for academics in V and VII semester of my college
(b) Stood second in my batch during VI and VIII semester
(c) Trekking - Climbed 12000 feet during school tour
(d) Headed few events at college level
Will be very grateful for any suggestions/feedbacks.
Also, please suggest few colleges that I can try for.

Hi there,
Thanks for your post. So your current GMAT is quite a bit lower than the average successful applicant's at ISB (their median is usually around 710). That will be a challenge right up front, as it is quite competitive and many other strong applicants will have higher scores going into the admissions process. Have you taken it just once? Have you considered trying again? Schools take the highest score and it's quite common to take the exam more than once.
Your academics sound respectable and based on the limited info here it sounds like your work experience will hopefully allow you to have some good experiences to contribute to the class. It's a plus that you've had some experiences leading teams. Beyond that, schools will want to learn more about the impact you've had; what you'll contribute to the class, why you want the MBA, why you are interested in ISB, what your goals are, etc.
Right now ISB is likely going to be tough for you. Improving the GMAT will help and if you have some strong examples of leadership and can create a compelling story about what you'll bring to the class and why you want the ISB MBA it will help to a certain degree.
Keep us posted on further questions and your progress/decisions!

However, can you please suggest few good colleges in India or Asia that I can apply with my current 660 GMAT Score ?
