Here is what I bring to the table:
BA - University of Dayton 2001, major: Electronic Media. GPA 3.21
2 years experience accounting at a now-defunct entertainment startup
2 years experience, equity sales and trading at a medium sized broker/dealer
Some, but not much managerial experience
All relevant work experience is in Los Angeles.
GMAT 720 Q47 V41 AWA 5.5
27 year old white male, American
What I want to do, eventually is run a contrarian stock fund. Want a MBA to further my career and land a job on the buy-side. An international slant is very important to me in choosing my MBA, and I have no interest in doing it outside of a major city.
The schools I want are UCLA, Berkeley, NYU, USC and ESADE-Spain. What do you think my chances are?

Your chances are okay, but hopefully you can bring out some leadership experiences (on the job or outside of work) and community involvement.
Also, think about how your overall career "story" ties together... Accounting at a startup, then equity sales, and later running a fund... That's not a stretch, but be clear about your interests and why your past experiences naturaly lead to this path.
Having said that, I think you could get into at least one of those schools if you can do what I mention above. Have you considered going part-time to USC or UCLA? That could help you stay in L.A. as well as boost your chances of getting admitted.
