Hi guys,
Can you please evaluate my profile?Hi Anon101892, thanks for reaching out...
White Male
Age at Matriculation 26
GMAT 720
Undergrad School: UNC-Charlotte So this is going to hurt you in getting to top programs but the 4.0 certainly will help- and the 720 GMAT gives you a shot- as does your 4 yrs of I banking.
Undergrad GPA: 4.0
Degree: B.S. in Finance
4 Years of work experience in Investment Banking
Would like to get into strategy/management consulting after MBA
Target Schools: Columbia, Fuqua, Darden, Tuck, and maybe reach for Stanford. A rating or % with each school would be great. Thanks!
I'd really have to know more to give you a realistic % on each school but let's just start with the outrageous for all... Stanford has 6% odds... you and everyone else is a long shot there. However, if you had a compelling "what matters most" to you story who knows...
I see Fuqua and Darden as the best possibilities on this list- and again it would depend on how compelling your application is. Both Fuqua and Darden are in the same region as UNC Charlotte and they are not going to consider this school a peer institution however if you have a great story to tell then I see no reason you can't be successful. So I would be working very hard on my applications and visiting the programs and have a very clear WHY MBA and WHY THIS SCHOOL. We can help with this kind of thing and I can see it adding great value. I think that Tuck and Columbia are also possible with a great application but more of a stretch. I would apply to Columbia as early as possible- like in Aug 2017 for the best odds. Here is a link to our free consults page and this link also gets you a 5% discount if you decide to use us:

Overall there is nothing in this profile that says you won't be able to do anything you want! Just do your homework and know your why! Best of luck to you!
