What is the OA ?

Can you explain why 1/3 : 4/7

My approach:

Male: Total - Migrated: 0.3X - 0.2Y
Female: Total - Migrated: 0.7X - 0.8Y

Migration rate = Migrated / Total
ratio of the migration rate for the male geese to the migration rate for the female geese
= Migration rate of male / migration rate of female = (0.2Y/0.3X) / (0.8Y/0.7X)
= 2/3 : 8/7 = 14/24 = 7/12

I went the same, but I used numbers, Total = 100, Migrated = 50

2/3:8:7 = 1/3:4/7
