I recently sat my GMAT second attempt with the help of DJ and the strategy team at
EGMAT. I wanted to take the opportunity to write about my retake experience and how
EGMAT helped me to increase my quant score in particular, you can also see my full review of
EGMAT here:
https://gmatclub.com/reviews/e-gmat-6?page=3My retake preparation began with diagnosis and DJ was kind enough to spend time with me on a call going through my ESR and helping me to extract insights from the report that would inform my preparation over the proceeding 4 weeks leading to my retake. He helped me to identify both my strengths and weaknesses and provided a tailored study plan using
EGMAT's curriculum to cover the gaps we had uncovered. The structured format of
EGMAT's course made it very easy to filter topics and revise only the areas where I needed extra practice.
I was also able to utilise the recently released Quant 2.0 course to great affect for my preparation. I particularly found the learning activity files useful which provide detailed video solutions for questions which break down the most efifcient apporach to questions and allow you to master the skills required to ace GMAT. As mentioned in my previous review I found the use of the "process skills" conecpt most helpful in developing a strategy to tackling the highest difficulty questions. This meant that even under time pressure I was able to revert back to the "muscle memory" I had developed fom hours of practice on the
EGMAT platform.
This was compounded with Scholiranium 2.0 -
EGMAT's extensive question bank providing ample opporunity to practice questions at varying difficulties and to harness the data from the system to identify areas for further improvement. The tests were realistic both in the format and the difficulty of questions - I can say the say the same for the SigmaX Mocks which wrere a very close reflection of my actual exam performance. In addition the data provided post test was very insightful providing feedback on areas such as weak topicsby subsection and tact time.
All in all, as I said in my previous review,
EGMAT really was the missing ingredient in my preparation and my retake experience has only compounded this! The detailed curriculum and taillored 1-1 support is truly second to none. Thank you DJ!
