will my low IR will ruin my chances into getting an MBA? What can i possibly do? I have very good academic record ,10th 92% CBSE, Intermediate i was one of state topper with 96%, Undergraduate with80% from JNTU university. Iam a femate IT engineer . worked for HSBC and currently working with Leading US Bank and have around 9 years of exp. What are my chances. I dont want to ruin my actual score 750 to just improve my IR. What should i do? iam also a classical dancer (kuchipudi Form) and also working in multiple NGO's. what schools i can apply for better chances?

My suggestion would be nto to worry a lot about IR score. With 750 I think IR score can be overshadowed, You anyways have a good profile .

You have an incredibly good score and a good overall profile; you should not worry much about IR, but should have some justification to defend questioning on the low IR score; Could you share more information such as which geography you would prefer to work post MBA and what is your area of interest?

I agree with the other posts on the Admissionado forum.

I would not worry about the IR score. That's the least important statistical factor with overall GMAT, Verbal GMAT, Quant GMAT and GPA mattering WAY more.

Food for thought: if you are really, really worried you could take the exam again. If you got a 750 you probably would score comparably, or at least good enough. Then you could consider which exam score to use. It's time consuming and costly, but it's an available option since you have time prior to applying for R1 this year.

If I were you, I would focus on other elements of your background and thinking about your essays, which will matter way more in getting into a top program.

Hey its a great score. IR can be overlooked, prepare your justification for this.
