Hello Everyone,

This is a serious query, I graduated from one of the top Engineering Colleges in India last year, but I had 3 backlogs. Even though I cleared them, will a history of backlogs put a dent in my application?

I was dreaming to secure good colleges and now this backlog issue has put me so down. Can someone please explain how much impact it will have? Should I stop my B-School Dream? Or, how can it be managed about?

Hey gmatmana ,

Welcome to GMATClub :)

I understand your current situation. But don't worry too much about it. As soon as you can get a very good GMAT Score to prove your academic skills as well as very well explain the reason for those back logs, you should be fine.

Schools do understand the scenarios and when explained well, they won't reject your application.

All the best :)
