Hi all,
I have a question regarding the new wiley online question bank (GMAT Review 2018). Right now I want to do verbal sets. The problem is, everytime I start a new set (20 or 40 questions) the set consists out of 80 - 90 % of reading comprehension questions. I don't understand why this is happening, I alway tick the boxes for all 3 kind of verbal question types.
Does anybody has the same experience or know why this happens? It's quite annoying if you start a new set and you always hope that there will be also other questions but it's alway ONLY RC. Is my only possibility to do every kind of question separately (only ticking one box, when creating a set)? This would be very annoying because it's not the experience you'll get on real test.
Would be very grateful about some answers or experiences. Please see for screenshot below.

The Wiley online question bank is the OG 2018 book. When you create a set it can never give you feel of real test as the questions that you get are not adaptive. It just pull the questions from a pool.You can get variation of all level and type of questions.
So for practice while studying i would suggest you to go topic vise and difficulty level vise. If you want to practice verbal real test scenario go for practice tests offered by gmatclub and different gmat test websites.

I have been facing a similar issue(and a lot of other friends of mine have too). I have tried scheduling 30 questions with all 3 categories of VA and 60 questions with VA and Quant both. But in all these cases only RC questions show up, which is truly absurd. I raised this request with the customer service and got an unhelpful response where they shirked acknowledgement and stated that this is how the algorithm is right now and that they would forward this request to the product team.
It actually defeats the purpose but the solution I have adopted is I do 10 RC questions first, then 20 of CR and SC, and then Quant separately.
Hence would recommend you to figure out a way like this because this is an error which would show up every time.
