So I am in a very delicate situation at the moment. As you can see from my profile, I was dinged(w/ interview) from Booth and received offers from Darden/Cornell/Ross.
Obviously I applied only to 1 top 5 school(Booth) since I felt my chances were slim for the M7 schools but the ding still does hurt nonetheless.

I am wondering, since I got into these great programs, should I apply to other M7 schools in R2. Or the fact that the other M7 schools are so much more selective(vs. Booth) that I shouldn't invest my time on R2 apps for 1-2 Top 5 programs.

Obviously I feel really tired firing up again for R2, but I guess this is the last shot. Any thoughts are welcome!

dont live in regret go for the other schools as well. Now that you have an offer in your pocket it should give you much more confidence for your new apps.

If I were you I'd put in my deposit at my top choice (If I'm playing the hypotheticals all the way, I'd also choose Cornell). Then you can apply to schools that are in the "m7" that appeal to you. Go for it but keep something in your back pocket!

bond007 is right.

This is the time you can be a bit more creative with your application and take your chances. You've got excellent fallback options and chances are that you might as well get in the m7 you apply to. (--because you've been selected at 3 other great schools, so obviously there is something great about you and schools do want to admit you).

and common.. being tired is not an option! :)

I think you should absolutely submit a few more apps if you're feeling up to it. What do you have to lose other than some sleep and $250-$500?

Thanks kingfalcon! I am very fond of the case method as I think it will really benefit me in the long run(regardless of the brand name of Darden compared to other M7 schools), so I guess I will probably just apply to Harvard.
