A is the right answer but I felt a bit odd while selecting it as the answer option with "Some materials".. this material can be anything but plastic, right?

This is a bit of a rhetorical question, but I suppose this example serves as proof for the LSAT/GMAT that an inference can be explicitly stated in the passage (unlike assumptions)?
