There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
Do RC/MSR passages scare you? e-GMAT is conducting a masterclass to help you learn – Learn effective reading strategies Tackle difficult RC & MSR with confidence Excel in timed test environment

For quite some time I've been a fan of Tim Ferriss (for those of you who have not heard of him - just google "4 Hour"). To put it in a nutshell - this guy focusses and embraces the Pareto Principle of 80/20 - 20% of the efforts bring you to 80% of the results.
Now within Verbal, RC is certainly my weak spot. Just recently, I watched Tim's tips for reading faster and this made me think about RC. Why do we constantly try to find ways for reading more efficiently viz. focusing on key-words of interest and turning points of the passage and only seldom do we try to explore just reading faster so to be able to actually read everything within an acceptable time frame without having to go back later on. In his short video, Tim introduces 3 techniques for reading faster: 1. Using a pacer, 2. Utilizing your peripheral, and 3. Just reading at a slightly faster pace
I wonder if any of you have tried implementing this on the GMAT. I will certainly try it within my RC practice the next few days and will report back. Let's finally crack RC together!
Let me know what you think!
