Hi,

I'm a small size (10employees) business owner. I planned to apply for MBA degree. I do not have immediate supervisor, so could you please advice me about the recommendation, "who should be my recommenders in addition to my undergrad. academic professor?" , and what information should be described in the essay for this recommender?

You can ask a major client or customer, a significant supplier, colleague, or professional advisor (atty, accountant) to be your recommender. In general, business schools discourage academic recommendations.

Almost all the schools provide forms that they want recommenders to fill out. These forms contain questions that the recommender needs to respond to. The more specific the response, the better the letter.
