Which schools tend to value the recommenders’ titles more than other schools? I know that a close relationship with the recommender and his/her enthusiasm for your candidacy is more important, but I imagine some schools put greater weight to the words from senior members/executives.

Hope this finds you well.

There isn't any objective means to crack the information you are looking for. Seniority, in our opinion, is purely secondary. Immediacy of your relationship with the recommender and his or her enthusiasm in your candidature is all you must really bother about. Of course, if the recommender in question has attended the school you are applying to, it helps!

It is essential for your recommender to mention the tenure of the association she/he has with you. The time of your association reflects how well the recommender knows you and how much he or she has seen your progress in your life and career. Hence, make sure at least one sentence about the tenure of your association or when your association started.

However, b schools prefer recommendations from a senior level that you have worked with or currently working with. A supervisor or above-level person would effectively corroborate your overall competencies.

B-schools don't follow a formula for the selection of recommenders. Every B-school that we know of (and have scoured their admission pages) want applicants to get recommendations from supervisors who know the applicant's performance well and can vouch for their candidature in the most genuine and enthusiastic manner. If you have worked closely with a senior executive in your organization and think they would be able to present such a recommendation, then, by all means, go ahead and ask them.
