I, too, am interested in any information people have about the difference in GMAT score averages. I am actually in the opposite boat, applying with a 760, but I didn't understand why a 1-Year program would be less competitive than a 2-Year. One thought I had was that they were basing the acceptance to the 1-Year program on work experience more than GMAT scores... since it is an accelerated program designed to get people back to the work force more quickly.
All in all, I'm extremely surprised that there is so little attention on BU and this program. You spend 3 months studying in China, then nine months in Boston, at one of the most respected universities in the country. BU moved up a lot in USNews this year, to something like 30th overall... and they are ranked as one of the best job placement MBAs in the world. I am applying to BU as my "safe school" - but I actually like their program more than the higher ranked ones.
Do any experts have any thoughts on this?
