Dear Team!
I am in a dilemma! Hence forth I need your suggestions..
Most Imp question: Does CFA level 1 clearing prior to applying b-schools in 2015 makes any sense?
Here is a link to the similar discussion but seems a bit old.. things change with passage of time and hence taste and preference of admission offices (adcom) MIGHT have also changed:
how-much-weight-does-the-cfa-charter-carry-68059.htmlSo, here I have an earnest request from you people to kindly suggest me on the similar front that having CF level 1 pass along with above average
schools target: top 20 as per USA news (schools focusing: Booth,Wharton,Duke,Ross,Emory,McDonough,NYU, Cornell, Olin,Kelley,Foster,Fisher,Owen,Tuck,Darden,UCLA)
GMAT :above 20 points as per schools mentioned average
commerce background (non-ivy league college with a lower score as no GPA is applicable)
work e:6 years collectively rich and diversified in financial services (Core finance) including 2 years of entrepreneurship 2
There have been leadership and roles, product innovation and stepping out to take calculative risk for the growth of the organization (but not a million or billion dollar project)
EC: really different and appealing
a)first question: does CFA level 1 can be a factor (if yes then what percentage) in covering my lower GPA thing?
b)CFA level 1 could be a factor to what percentage in scholarship if somehow awarded.
second level can be taken up in 2016 June and hence no point on being promising over future results but if I could clear it up then for sure will go to us school with CF level 2 passed and rest third level could be done in school (somehow).
Kindly revert it on a slight priority basis as 18th Feb is last day to register with normal fees
thanks
